IU’s Research Technologies (RT) and Pervasive Technology Institute (PTI) are sponsoring RT/PTI Data Services Day. This free event is open to all researchers, students, faculty, and support staff who are interested in databases and/or data management as applied to research.

Event Overview

Data Services Day is dedicated to increasing awareness of the impact and advantages of databases / data management in research. This event will offer presentations on various database and data-management features of interest to researchers. Oracle representatives will discuss functionality related to data analysis and access. IU staff will present a general overview of databases as applied to research and what services IU offers to support the research community. You will also hear stories of how IU researchers currently use some of these products and services to support research in their labs.
